Cruise Duration & Route
The Bateaux Mouches cruise lasts around 70 minutes and departs from the dock beneath the Alma Bridge. The journey takes you past some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks, including Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, City Hall, Conciergerie, Île de la Cité, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Île Saint-Louis. Since the departure point is near the Eiffel Tower, it’s ideal to plan your visit to the tower first, then board the cruise for a seamless itinerary.
Best Time to Board
The cruise operates six times daily: 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:00 PM. The most popular time is 7:00 PM, when you can enjoy both the romantic sunset and the illuminated night views of Paris. Since this is the peak time, be sure to arrive early for the best seats.
TIP: If you can board early, try to grab a seat at the very end of the boat facing the direction of travel for the best panoramic view.
