BESTThis was our first family trip to Mongolia and this tour made for some truly unforgettable memories. It was nice that the guide kept the kids entertained while we were traveling by private vehicle from Ulaanbaatar to the Mini Gobi Desert, and stopped every so often to take pictures. As soon as we arrived and saw the camels, the kids’ eyes lit up! We actually rode them and slowly walked across the desert, and the kids said, “Wow, it’s like a movie!” They ran around in the desert and watched the sunset… It was much more beautiful than the pictures. The ger accommodation was warmer than expected, and the barbecue dinner was prepared to suit our tastes, so the kids enjoyed it. At night, the stars poured down, so the kids even played a game of finding constellations. It was a 2-day, 1-night trip, but it really felt like a week-long experience. If you come as a family, you'll feel more at ease and safer than alone, so I highly recommend it!

Introduction to major tourist destinations
1. Kharkhorin Walls:
Kharkhorin was the capital of the old Mongol Empire founded by Genghis Khan and is home to the Erdene Zuu Monastery.
The wall surrounding this temple is 400m long and wide, and there are 108 stupas (stone towers) on top of the wall.
2. Erdenjo Temple:
Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia's first Lamaist Buddhist temple, was built in the 13th century by Genghis Khan's son, Ogedei Khan, in Karakorum (Kharkhorin), the capital city, as he expanded his territory into Europe.
3. Ger (camp accommodation):
Mongolia has changed from a traditional nomadic society to a society that lives in fixed houses centered around large cities today. However, even now, most of the people living in the grasslands outside of the capital, Ulaanbaatar, live in gers. You can experience a ger firsthand.
4. Elsentasar Desert:
Enjoy the Mongolian desert by riding a sand sled on the sand dunes, or by trekking through the desert while watching the sunset.
