Hoi An Express's
Ba Den Mountain and Cao Dai Temple Tour
This tour is operated by Hoi An Express, the largest travel agency in Vietnam. After being picked up from your hotel, you will begin by heading to Cao Dai Temple. The temple was used as a residence, administrative office, residence for officials and experts, and a traditional herbal medicine hospital in southern Vietnam. The temple is the home of the Cao Dai sect, which practices a unique blend of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity.
After the temple tour, we will have lunch at a local restaurant and then head to Ba Den Mountain, about 11km northeast of Tay Ninh, near the border between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The beautiful temples and caves of Baden Mountain, where Buddhist monks and nuns used to stay, are said to still be preserved in a state of almost undamaged condition. Finally, you can take a cable car to see all of Baden Mountain at a glance, or if you don’t want to take a ride, you can trek to the top and look around.
Meet the Cao Dai Temple
The most photogenic place near Ho Chi Minh City is the Cao Dai Temple. Cao Dai is a religion with a unique doctrine that combines the five major religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, and Islam. Believers believe in a heavenly god and value peace, love, and compassion . You can see their worship place in person.
The interior of Cao Dai Temple, which is rarely seen in Korea due to its colorful design, is really unique and fun to look at. The religious ceremonies at Cao Dai Temple are open to tourists , and it is a great opportunity to experience Vietnamese culture .
To the top of Mount Baden
The next mountain you visit is Ba Den Mountain, which you can climb by taking the Sun World Cable Car or by trekking. It is a mountain located in Tay Ninh, southern Vietnam, and boasts beautiful scenery, so I highly recommend visiting.
1. Baden Mountain Trekking:
There are several trekking courses to the top of Baden Mountain, but most people take the summit course. The summit course is the easiest course, where you take the cable car to the middle and then trek the rest of the way.
2. Baden Mountain Cable Car:
Opened in 2019, this 8.8km long cable car ascends to the 986m high summit in just 15 minutes.
