The best view of Mt. Fuji
To the best spot
If you are wondering how to go to see Mt. Fuji, which comes to mind when you think of Japan, I recommend a day tour where you meet at Tokyo Station and take a comfortable bus. You will visit a total of four places, and I have selected only the most famous best spots, so if the weather is good, you will be able to see it with both eyes without regret.
Be sure to take some great photos with Mt. Fuji in the background at Saiko Iyashino Sato Nenba, Oishi Park, Oshino Hakkai, and Arakurayama Sengen Park!
Psycho Iyashinosato Nenba
Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba is a small village lined with traditional houses, preserving the atmosphere of Japan’s Edo period. You can catch a glimpse of Japan’s old lifestyle culture in the lovely scenery with Mt. Fuji in the background, and in one corner of the village, you can buy souvenirs such as Yamanashi specialties and crafts made by local people, making it the perfect place to make special memories of your trip.
Oishi Park
Oishi Park, located on Lake Kawaguchiko, is a place where you can see Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko at a glance. In particular, various flowers bloom throughout the four seasons, creating a different atmosphere each season. If you are lucky, you can see the lake sparkling under a clear sky and the magnificent Mt. Fuji at the same time.
From October 26 to November 20 every year, you can visit the Kawaguchiko Maple Corridor instead of Oishi Park to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves.
Oshino Hakkai, Arakurayama Sengen Park
Oshino Hakkai is a place where the eternal snow of Mt. Fuji melted and there are eight ponds. Many people visit to see Mt. Fuji reflected in the ponds. At Arakurayama Sengen Park, you can see the representative scenery of Mt. Fuji and the red five-story pagoda, and if you climb the stairs to the observatory, you can see the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji at a glance.
