Start Your Journey from the 5th Floor

To fully appreciate MoMA, we recommend starting on the 5th floor, which houses the museum's most significant works from the 1880s to the 1940s. Here, you'll find masterpieces by Van Gogh and Monet. Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night' is displayed in Room 502 on the 5th floor. Explore the 5th-floor exhibitions in advance.

The 4th floor features art from the 1940s to the 1970s, while the 3rd floor showcases experimental works often associated with contemporary art, including Jeff Koons' 'Pink Panther' sculpture. The 2nd floor presents art from the 1970s to the present day. Additionally, various collections are rotated monthly and quarterly. Remember to begin on the 5th floor and work your way down!
