A product of Western modernism,
New National Gallery, Berlin
After six years of restoration work, the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin has reopened. With its sharp contrast of horizontal roof and vertical transparent glass walls, the building is more reminiscent of a minimalist sculpture than an art museum , and various exhibitions are held here on a regular basis.
In particular, this place, called the 'Hall of Light and Glass', was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, one of the masters of modernist architecture, and boasts such beauty that it is meaningful to just see its exterior.
At the New National Museum of Art,

Works by various 20th century masters from Europe and North America:
You can see exhibitions of Edvard Munch, Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon, and René Magritte.
The building itself is a work of art
This museum reflects Mies van der Rohe's typical "less is more" design philosophy. The building, made of transparent glass and steel, is considered an important example of 20th-century architecture. So I highly recommend visiting.
