Odawara Castle Keep, restored in 1960, is a symbol of Odawara City. It was renovated in 2016, and the exhibition has been renewed. The exhibition at Odawara Castle's Tokiwaki Gate was renovated and opened in 2016 as a new historical tourism facility, 'Tokiwaki Gate SAMURAI Museum.' It features an exhibition specializing in armor, swords, and other weapons, introducing the spirituality of the samurai and the artistry of the weapons.


Historical Exploration Museum (Ninja Museum)

In April 2019, it was renovated and reopened as a facility where you can learn about the history of Odawara while experiencing ninja. Motivated by the Fuma Ninja, who secretly helped the Hojo family during the Warring States period, you can experience and feel what it was like to be a ninja. With videos and hands-on exhibits using the latest digital technology, a wide range of people from children to foreigners can enjoy it.

At Odawara Castle, you can also enjoy traditional Japanese costume rental services. Armor experiences, where you can wear traditional costumes such as armor and ninja costumes, are popular.
