The fairy of the dragon palace under the sea,
Meet Hello Kitty
Watch, play, make, and eat with Hello Kitty! This place, which is like a dragon palace under the sea, is HELLO KITTY SMILE. Meet Hello Kitty in her fairy form, which can only be seen at HELLO KITTY SMILE on Awaji Island.
There is a lot of content you can do inside. Starting with various photo zones and experiences, you can take pictures with Hello Kitty or play games. Hello Kitty goods and souvenirs that can only be purchased here will make your memories shine even brighter.
Awaji Island’s Dragon Palace,
Let’s explore together!
HELLO KITTY SMILE is located right next to the sea. Isn’t the Dragon Palace concept really unique and fitting? You can also see Hello Kitty, a dragon girl concept that can only be seen here.
This place is serious about its concept and offers a variety of experiential activities. If you love Kitty, this is heaven. Now, let me introduce you to what kind of activities you can do here!
Plunge into Yonggungseong Fortress!
As soon as you enter, you will feel like you are under the sea. In the 'UNDER THE SEA' area, you are greeted by a bright blue light that makes you feel like you are under the sea. You might be mesmerized by the sight of gracefully swimming fish!
Also, you can find colorful creatures in various places. A cute turtle family will guide you to Yonggungseong Fortress in the ‘CAVE’ area. As you follow the turtle family, a cool open car and countless Hello Kitties are waiting for you. Hello Kitty holograms on the floor and walls are a bonus.
Say hello to fairy Kitty
If you have arrived safely at Yonggungseong Fortress, I will introduce you to the ‘HELLO KITTY’S ROOM’ area. This is a replica of where Hello Kitty lives. It features a luxurious and spacious sofa. You can take pictures as if you were Kitty.
When it's greeting time, Kitty in the form of a fairy will come here. Then, you can chat with Kitty or take a picture with her. There are many different types of greetings, including ‘Smile Greeting’, ‘Restaurant Greeting’, and the weekend ‘Smile Show’. For those who couldn't meet Kitty at HELLO KITTY'S ROOM, we recommend restaurant greeting. In Restaurant Greeting, Hello Kitty visits each restaurant and goes around each table to say hello.
Kitty made with my own hands
You can enjoy a variety of experiential activities at HELLO KITTY SMILE’s atelier. Both adults and children can enjoy it. Coloring Hello Kitty pottery, drawing Hello Kitty, drawing Hello Kitty with sand of your desired color, and even rescuing Sanrio characters! Making souvenirs with your own hands is a truly memorable experience.
‘How do you eat it because it’s such a waste?’, Kitty’s tea time!
How about a pleasant tea time on the terrace with a view of the sea? It looks almost too good to be eaten, but it will be different when you try it. Each dish is prepared with great care and is truly delicious!
Other drinks are also attractive, but I definitely recommend ordering a latte here. You can order your own latte by combining 6 flavors and more than 10 types of latte art. Also, it is really delicious because it uses milk that is popular in Japan. For those who can't drink coffee, we also have chocolate latte and caramel milk, so don't worry!
You can only buy this goods here
The flower of travel is a souvenir, right? HELLO KITTY SMILE has souvenir shops on the first and second floors.
The first floor sells bags and pouches that can be carried on a daily basis, stationery, and confectionery that are perfect as gifts. In addition to Hello Kitty, there are other Sanrio characters as well. The original goods section that can only be purchased here is a must-check, so don't miss it!
On the second floor, there is a collection of goods that will appeal to the tastes of adults. We sell collaboration products with high brands such as Swarovski and Crocodile, as well as handkerchiefs that are essential when traveling to Japan. Find rare items here!
