MRT
Operating hours: 05:55 - 24:00
Dispatch interval: 5 - 10 minutes
The MRT currently operates two lines: red and orange. The route extends not only to the city center but also to suburban areas, and is characterized by fast travel speeds and accurate timetables.
light rail
Operating hours: 07:00 - 22:00
Dispatch interval: 15 minutes
Light rail is also called LRT, and there are two lines in operation: light green and gray. It is smaller and lighter than the MRT, is usually operated on the ground, and mainly provides short-distance connections in urban or suburban areas.

Kaohsiung MRT 1-day pass
Valid on the day of first use during MRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides)
Kaohsiung MRT 2-day pass
It is valid for 2 days, including the date of first use, during MRT operating hours. (Unlimited Rides) For example, if you use your ticket for the first time at 1pm on June 1, the ticket is valid until your last MRT ride on June 2.
Kaohsiung MRT & Light Rail 1-Day Pass
Valid on the day of first use during MRT and light rail operating hours. (Unlimited rides) Additionally, scanning the QR code is not currently required to use the light rail, just present the QR code to the ticket agent when necessary. (For example, if you use a ticket at 1pm on June 1st, it is valid until the last MRT & light rail ride on June 1st.)

It is valid for 2 days, including the date of first use, during MRT and light rail operating hours. How to use:
When using Kaohsiung MRT
Present the QR code at the turnstile and scan it. Once scanning is approved, you will be granted entry.
When using Kaohsiung Light Rail
There is currently no need to scan a QR code when using the light rail. Present the QR code to the ticket agent when necessary.
