Here's some simple information and routes for the MRT and LRT. This information will be helpful when booking or traveling!
MRT
Operating Hours: 05:55 - 24:00
Interval: 5 - 10 minutes
The MRT currently operates on two lines, red and orange. The lines extend not only to the city center but also to the suburbs, and are characterized by fast travel speeds and accurate timetables.
LRT
Operating Hours: 07:00 - 22:00
Interval: 15 minutes
The LRT is also called the Light Rail Transit, and operates on two lines, green and gray. It is smaller and lighter than the MRT, and is usually operated on the ground, mainly providing short-distance connections in urban or suburban areas.

Kaohsiung MRT 1-Day Pass
Valid on the date of first use within MRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides)
Kaohsiung MRT 2-Day Pass
Valid for 2 days including the date of first use within MRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) For example, if you use the ticket for the first time at 1 p.m. on June 1, the ticket is valid until the last MRT ride on June 2.
Kaohsiung MRT & LRT 1-Day Pass
Valid on the date of first use within MRT and LRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) Also, you do not currently need to scan the QR code to use the LRT, and you can present the QR code to the ticket vendor when needed. (For example, if you use the ticket at 1 p.m. on June 1, it is valid until the last MRT & LRT ride on June 1.)

Valid for 2 days including the date of first use within MRT and LRT operating hours. When using Kaohsiung MRT
Present the QR code to the gate and scan it. Admission is granted once scanning is approved.
When using Kaohsiung Light Rail
When using the Light Rail, QR code scanning is not currently required. Present your QR code to the ticket vendor when needed.
