Interact with animals in a spacious area!
Zoorasia Zoo
Zoorasia, the largest zoo in Japan, is a place where animals and humans can interact. The animals live in a happy environment that embodies nature.
There are also experiential programs prepared where you can experience their ecology and have a special bond. In particular, you can see the mascot of Zoorasia, the Okapi, a giraffe and other animals that you cannot find in Korean zoos, so be sure to visit!
Coexistence of life, harmony with nature,
A zoo of friendly minds
The main theme of the Zoorasia Zoo is 'Coexistence of Life and Harmony with Nature'. With this theme as the center, wild animals from all over the world are bred by theme. We are also actively participating in reintroducing endangered rare species to the wild and in research for this purpose.
Why not take some time to think about the right life and lifestyle that humans can provide for animals?
Get one step closer to cute animals
For those who want to interact with cute animals at a closer distance, there are experiences prepared! At 'Pakapaka Plaza', horse feeding and horseback riding experiences are held. Also, at the 'Guinea Pig and Mouse House' in the plaza, you can pet and interact with guinea pigs. Are you ready to fall in love with animals even more through various experiences?
You can check the detailed schedule on the official website !
Okapi! Who are you?
Okapi, which lives in the Congo River Basin, is a giraffe-like animal, and is classified as an endangered species, so it is still an unfamiliar animal to us. Since there is no zoo in Korea that raises Okapi, please visit Zoorasia and see the cute appearance of Okapi!
A large zoo with a zookeeper
Walking around the vast zoo is not an easy task. But don’t worry. You can easily get around by taking the cute bus named “Zoopi”, which is modeled after the mascot of Zoorasia, the Okapi. Let’s take a ride on Zoopi and tour around the zoo.
