The Art Museum Birch Forest is a private art museum that officially opened in 2004, starting with Director Won Jong-ho planting birch saplings on a 10,000-pyeong piece of land in 1991. The indoor exhibitions consisting of the permanent exhibition hall, special exhibition hall, and studio gallery, and the entire birch forest containing the garden are the museum's exhibition works and a walking trail where you can leisurely stroll.

In the permanent exhibition hall, you can see Director Won Jong-ho’s photo exhibition. The birch forest at the museum began with fascination after seeing birch trees on Mt. Baekdu. Take time to take a peek into Director Won Jong-ho's forest life and reflect on it while admiring the photos of trees with a lonely atmosphere resembling birch trees in the photos that fill the walls of the exhibition hall. .

Enjoy various special exhibitions at the special exhibition hall. Every year, we hold invitational exhibitions by talented artists and provide opportunities for new artists to demonstrate their creativity, and currently exhibit the collection of the museum’s Birch Forest.

You can enjoy drinks and desserts at the Studio Gallery. You can exchange the postcard you receive at the ticket booth upon entering for a drink, so enjoy some leisure time while looking at simple art products and works with a drink.

Outdoor exhibition hall, birch garden

The indoor exhibition halls of the museum's birch forest are all made up of individual buildings, so in order to move between each building, you have to go outdoors and through nature. All of the outdoor spaces on the museum grounds are the museum's gardens, walking trails, and outdoor exhibition spaces.

Feel the changes of the four seasons, quietly meditate, and feel the atmosphere of nature in this birch forest, which is managed and tended by the director.
