The oldest public botanical garden in Japan, Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden, is celebrating its 100th anniversary by opening at night for a limited time. Step into Japan’s largest greenhouse and enjoy the plants in combination with fantastic light and magnificent sound. Divided into four zones, we hope you’ll enjoy a visit to all of them and immerse yourself in the charm of plants you never knew existed in a dreamlike world created by light and sound.

LIGHT CYCLES KYOTO
Spend a special time appreciating the sparkle of vibrant plants at the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden! A world-class media art group
At this night opening event at the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden, you can see an installation art by MOMENT FACTORY , a world-leading media art group that focuses on the relationship between humans and nature and biodiversity.
Since its founding in 2001, Moment Factory has carried out a whopping 550 projects and has a diverse range of achievements regardless of country, including Disney, Universal Studios, Microsoft, Sony, Paradise City, and Changi International Airport, so you can look forward to the splendid collaboration of light, sound, and plants at Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden.
