<Saturday Masterpiece> is the National Gugak Center's signature performance, held every Saturday at Umyeondang. Even without a microphone or speaker, you can feel the charm of the performance as the melodies of traditional instruments that touch your heart beautifully spread throughout the performance hall. I highly recommend it to those who want to learn about Korean traditional music or are generally interested in it! Pamphlets are provided in English, Chinese, and Japanese, and English subtitles and narration are displayed on a large screen in front of the performance hall, allowing foreign visitors to enjoy the performance together.

The world-renowned <Saturday Masterpiece> performance vividly conveys the excitement and spirit of Korea. The composition is slightly different every week, so you can find more detailed information on the performance on the website. The performance is 70 minutes long and runs from 15:00 to 16:10. It mainly combines various instruments such as instrumental ensemble, danso, dance, gayageum, and geomungo. And the hanbok worn by the performers and dancers will please your eyes. Each instrument and gesture expresses sophisticated rhythm, leaving you deeply moved.

The performance will be held at the Umyeondang of the National Gugak Center, where you can enjoy the performance vividly. The seats are largely divided into [A, B, C], and in detail, they are divided into three types: [general seats, disabled seats, balcony seats]. From the left side centered on the stage, it is organized into row seats, row seats, and multi-row seats, and there is one entrance on the first floor between row seats and row seats, and between row seats and multi-row seats. Row seats and multi-row seats have balcony seats, and row seats have a passageway and stairs separating rows 7 and 8. Please refer to the seating chart to secure a good seat!
