Kimchi Cooking Class with a Sommelier
Kimchi, Korea's soul food, is a fantastic dish on its own, but it offers an unexpected and fantastic marriage when paired with Western wines. Follow the guidance of a host who is a former wine bar owner and professional sommelier, understand the fermentation science of kimchi, and embark on a journey to find the wine that best complements your own cooking, which will stylishly adorn your Seoul trip.
Key Highlights

Sommelier-Designed 'K-Marriage'
Go beyond simply learning to cook and deeply explore the harmony between wine and Korean cuisine. Learn exciting non-face-to-face pairing tips that only experts can provide, such as the sweetness of wine that goes well with the strong acidity of kimchi, and the harmony of tannins that capture the greasy taste of crispy pancakes.

Explore 4 Types of Kimchi and Custom Cooking
Tantalize your taste buds by tasting four representative types of kimchi: cabbage kimchi, white kimchi, radish kimchi, and aged kimchi. Afterwards, practice cooking your favorite dish (choose 1 out of kimchi pancake, white kimchi noodles, or radish kimchi fried rice) to learn the various uses of kimchi.

Host's Signature Dishes and Generous Dining
In addition to the dishes made by the students, 'Aged Kimchi and Pork Belly Braised' prepared with care by the host is also provided. The highlight of the class is sharing wine glasses and affection with participants of various nationalities in a cozy space in Jongno.
Cooking Class Menu Information

Introducing three kimchi dishes that will be born from your fingertips.
Crispy Kimchi Pancake
Slice well-ripened cabbage kimchi and pan-fry it until it is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It goes perfectly with acidic white wine or light rosé wine.
Cool White Kimchi Noodles
A dish that is enjoyed by mixing somen noodles in a non-irritating and clean white kimchi broth. The clean flavor that cleanses the mouth maximizes synergy when paired with sparkling wine.
Radish Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice
A fusion style that captures the taste with the crunchy texture of radish kimchi and salty bacon. Thanks to its rich flavor, it goes well with light red wine.
'Does the meeting of kimchi and wine feel unfamiliar? However, the natural acidity created by the lactic acid bacteria in kimchi goes surprisingly well with the acidity of wine. With the meticulous guidance of the sommelier host, you will gain the confidence to hold a great 'Korean Wine Party' at your home anytime after the class.'
