Echigo Tsumari 2025

Echigo-Tsumari, which began in 2000, is a special festival held every three years. Artists from around the world install their works in various spaces, including rice paddies, abandoned schools, vacant houses, and forests. Many works are on permanent display outside of the festival period, making this a unique museum where you can enjoy art amidst nature year-round. However, the ticket also includes various perks, making it a great way to enjoy your trip to the Niigata region.

Introduction to ticket benefits

✅ Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel : 600 yen discount for general admission, 100 yen discount for elementary and middle school students * Those with an exhibition ticket can enter the 'Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel' without prior reservation!
✅ JIKU #13 HOKUHOKU-LINE : 100 yen discount on admission fee (separate ticket required)
✅ Echigo Matsunoyama Forest School "Kyororo" (越後松之山森の学校「ョロロ」) : 300 yen discount
