BESTThe views are spectacular, but the management of the resort leaves questions unanswered. The number of tourists has increased dramatically due to the influence of social media, resulting in extremely long wait times for the gondola. It seems as though priority is being given to regular customers who are just visiting the cafe rather than skiers, creating a stressful environment for those who simply want to enjoy skiing. There are also too many people concentrated in certain areas of the course, and there are often times when it feels like there is a risk of collision. Rental items can run out in the afternoon, and if you don't go early you won't be able to find the right size. One visit is enough, and next time I'll go to a mountain that is less crowded.

Hakuba was the stage for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Hakuba was chosen as the host city due to its excellent natural environment with the Northern Alps as a backdrop. With this background, Hakuba is a special place where you can directly experience the snowfields where world-class athletes have performed. In particular, the view from the summit of Mt. Iwatake, where Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field is located, is overwhelming and popular as a top photo spot. There are a total of 26 courses for everyone from beginners to experts, so people of all ages can be satisfied. In addition to skiing, you can also enjoy activities such as snowshoeing or admiring the scenery of Mt. Iwatake from the observatory. Mountain Side Area
With slopes spread out at an altitude of approximately 1,500m, there are many natural terrain courses mainly for advanced users, so you can enjoy thrilling riding.
Village Side Area
This area is optimized for beginners and family travelers, and has gentle slopes, making it suitable for practicing skiing and snowboarding.
Back Bowl
This is a popular area for advanced users where you can enjoy uncompacted natural powder snow, and you can experience riding where you can fully feel the Alps in deep snow.
White Park

Sunny Valley
