Daimon Shuzo Brewery, located at the foot of Mount Ikoma in Katano City, Osaka, is a traditional sake brewery with a history of approximately 200 years. Founded in 1826, the family business has been passed down to the sixth generation. Using premium rice and pristine spring water from the Ikoma Mountains, they brew brands like "Daimon," "Rikyu-bai," and "Mukune."
The brewery building, a wooden structure that retains its old-world charm, offers regular brewery tours and tastings. The restaurant, "Mukune," located on the same premises, offers courses and pairings tailored to the brewery's sake. The restaurant itself is a renovated former brewery, offering a unique atmosphere where guests can enjoy a meal and sake in the unique atmosphere of a 200-year-old sake warehouse.
