Fukui Ski Jam Katsuyama is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan. Utilizing the slopes, which range from approximately 600 meters to 1,300 meters in elevation, the resort offers a variety of courses, from the longest 5.8km long run to gentle slopes suitable for beginners. Beginners can practice leisurely on the wide beginner course near the base, while intermediate skiers can enjoy the exhilarating long run cruising course, which feels like a grand loop around the mountain. Advanced skiers can enjoy the thrill of changing lines on the steep course at the top and the tree run and powder area, which utilize the natural terrain.
Snowboarders can use the entire course, and the terrain and park elements make it a great place to alternate between free run and park.
