Fukui Ski Jam Katsuyama is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan. Utilizing the mountain range from approximately 600m to 1,300m above sea level, you can enjoy various courses from the longest approximately 5.8km long run course to gentle slopes that even beginners can enjoy with peace of mind. Those who are starting to ski and snowboard can practice slowly on the wide beginner course on the base side, intermediate skiers can enjoy a refreshing run as if circling the mountain on the long run cruising course, and advanced skiers can enjoy changing lines in the tree run and powder areas that make use of the natural terrain on the upper slopes.
Snowboarders can use all courses and there are moderate terrains and park elements, so it is good to alternate between free riding and park riding. Skiers can enjoy the unique powder snow quality of Hokuriku by deeply carving turns on the widely spread slopes. On the long run course that utilizes the mountainous terrain with a large difference in elevation, you can descend up to approximately 5.8km without interruption, so beginners and intermediate skiers can repeatedly practice turns at their leisure, and advanced skiers can enjoy the exhilaration of rhythmically descending while increasing their speed. The snow quality is relatively stable throughout the season due to the heavy snowfall in the area, and on the day after a heavy snowfall, you can enjoy riding through the snow in some powder sections and tree run zones that make use of the natural terrain.

Family & Beginner Area
For those who are starting to ski and snowboard or for families, there is a well-equipped area for beginners spread around the base. The wide, gentle slope course that can be entered directly from the lift is not fast, so children and beginners can practice with relative peace of mind. There is a kids' park where you can enjoy snow sledding and tubing, and a moving belt is installed so that even young children who are burdened by the lift can easily go up and down. The ski and snowboard school in the resort operates children-only lessons and beginner lessons.
