Discover Tokyo's new landmark, Skytree.

Completed in 2016, Tokyo Skytree is Tokyo's first new landmark in 100 years, following Tokyo Tower. At a staggering 634 meters, Tokyo Skytree boasts the world's tallest free-standing broadcasting tower.
Tokyo Skytree was named Skytree, meaning "a large tree reaching toward the sky," and is well known to have been designed by Japan's greatest sculptor, Kiichi Sumikawa.
Tokyo Skytree has observation decks at 350 meters and 450 meters. On a clear day, the observation decks offer views as far as 75 kilometers away, including Mount Fuji. And at night, the twinkling lights of Tokyo and Tokyo Tower make it a must-see attraction.
Take a walk along the Sky View Corridor

The most famous feature of Tokyo Skytree is the observation deck located at the 450-meter Tembo Corridor. The observation deck is a glass-encased corridor that extends along a slope, giving you the feeling of taking a stroll through the air. So, even if it's worth the extra money, I highly recommend visiting the 450-meter observation deck.
As you move along the observation deck, you will come across the highest point, Sorakara Point, at an altitude of 451.2m. It would be nice to see that point as well.
More than just an exhibition, the perfect concept: Tokyo Sumida Aquarium

Explore Japan's underwater world at the Sumida Aquarium, located on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Skytree. This is Japan's second artificial seawater aquarium, following the Kyoto Aquarium. Artificial seawater aquariums have the advantage of reducing carbon dioxide emissions generated when transporting seawater inland from the ocean, and maintaining clean water quality year-round. This makes them environmentally friendly and provides a more pleasant environment for marine life.
There's also a variety of things to see inside. The aquarium is particularly stunning, with its beautiful displays of marine life, almost like an exhibition.
Sumida Aquarium, full of sparkling attractions

Sumida Aquarium is divided into eight zones.
Sumida Aquarium, an urban aquarium located on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Skytree Town, is divided into eight zones. Popular attractions include the Tokyo Grand Aquarium, a faithful reproduction of the Ogasawara Sea, a World Natural Heritage site, and the up-close viewing of penguins and seals at Japan's largest indoor open-air tank.
Another popular spot is the 'Jellyfish Kaleidoscope Tunnel', a space with about 5,000 mirrors attached to the 50m-long slope, walls, and ceiling, and the space illuminated by blue lights creates a fantastical atmosphere.
Beyond the exhibition, a starlight journey that awakens all five senses: Planetarium Sky

Enjoy a journey through the universe, even in the heart of the city, at the planetarium Tenkū, located on the 7th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town Tokyo Solamachi. Tenkū isn't just a space to admire the stars; it's an entertainment planetarium for adults, where images and music flow seamlessly to gently lift your spirits. The lineup is diverse, from collaborations with popular artists to calming, healing themes, so you can choose the one that best suits your mood.
The appeal of Skytree is its relaxing viewing environment. All seats are reclining, creating a natural sky-gazing posture. At the front are premium crescent-shaped seats, available in limited quantities of three, perfect for special occasions like special anniversaries or winter dates. Furthermore, in healing productions, original aromas are gently diffused, tailored to the scene, creating an immersive experience that combines sight, sound, and scent. After enjoying the view of Skytree or visiting the Sumida Aquarium, a visit to Skytree offers a clean and seamless flow, making for a truly fulfilling end to the day.
