BESTMarine World was such a vibe. I went in thinking it’d be a cute little aquarium trip but nah—the dolphin show went crazy. The tanks are super aesthetic too, like perfect for photos. If you’re in Fukuoka for a day and want something chill but fun, this place is a big W.
Located right next to the ocean, Fukuoka's largest aquarium, Marine World Uminonakamichi, is a must-see destination for anyone wanting to see the dolphin show alone. Watching the adorable animals, including dolphins and seals, against the backdrop of the endless ocean is truly captivating.
The interior is divided into a total of 10 exhibition halls, so there is plenty to see, and the surrounding scenery is also so beautiful that it is a great travel destination!

You can conveniently visit Marine World from Hakata by subway.
1. From Hakata Station, take the Kashii (JR) for 12 minutes and transfer.
2. Get off at Uminonakamichi (JD) after 16 minutes from Kashii
