The observation deck, the Floating Garden, is unique in its structure, and the moment you step onto the deck, you'll be in the mood for a truly memorable trip.
From the open-air rooftop deck, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Osaka City. On clear days, the view extends as far as Awaji Island, making it a highly satisfying spot day or night.
The mist spraying from approximately 1,000 nozzles creates a sea-like atmosphere, making for particularly beautiful photos. During nighttime hours, the floor lighting and city lights add to the romantic atmosphere.
Couples can create a memorable memory of their trip with a heart-shaped padlock. Choose a color and even have it engraved, and your day in Osaka will be a truly special memory.

The sky garden begins the moment you climb up to the observation deck.
The Umeda Sky Building consists of two towers connected at the top, making the journey to the observatory an experience in itself. The view slowly opens up from the indoor section, and as you ascend, the sense of anticipation soars as you take in the panoramic view of downtown Osaka.
Upon arriving at the observatory, you'll first be greeted by an indoor area offering a comfortable view of the city's skyline. Even on windy or rainy days, you can enjoy the view from inside, making it a convenient stop even on a tight schedule.
Enjoy a panoramic view from the 360-degree open-air deck 170 meters above the ground.

The highlight of the Sky Garden is the open-air rooftop deck. Beyond the railing, the panoramic view of downtown Osaka unfolds before your eyes. During the day, the city's lines and flow are clearly visible. On a clear day, the view extends far into the distance, creating a breathtaking, expansive experience.
Visiting around sunset is even more atmospheric. The sky gradually darkens and the city lights come on one by one, creating a truly beautiful scene. At night, the glittering cityscape unfolds beneath your feet, truly capturing the essence of Osaka.
Here are some must-see places on each floor.

Leave a romantic memory with the heart lock option

You can leave a memento of your entrance to the Hanging Garden by selecting the heart-shaped lock option.
You can choose the color on the spot on the day, and since engraving can take time depending on the crowds, if you are aiming for night time, we recommend getting the lock done first.
