Walk through the night of the Ryukyu Dynasty, lit up with lanterns

Enjoy the Ryukyu Lantern Festival, a winter-limited event at Murasaki Mura, the Kingdom of Okinawa Experiences. The space, which recreates the street scenery of the Ryukyu Dynasty era, is illuminated by more than 3,000 lantern lights, and the atmosphere comes alive from the moment you walk through the alley. The fun of the festival is not just the night view, but the production of lights decorated with different themes in each zone. From handmade lanterns in the shape of animals and various objects to Chinese-style lanterns and exotic lighting decorations, there is plenty to see, so it's good to take a slow stroll.

On one side, there is an exhibition of lantern contest works, a lantern stage that combines performances and dances, and even a projection production using the exterior walls of buildings, so you can enjoy it like a night festival. Photo spots are well prepared throughout the park, making it great for taking pictures. If you're in the mood for a warm snack, take a break at the Lantern Cafe.

Traditional Craft Experience
- Kankara Sanshin Making Experience: You can make your own 'Kankara Sanshin', a traditional Okinawan musical instrument! (Reservations required in advance)
- Ryukyu Indigo Dyeing Experience: This is a traditional Okinawan dyeing experience where you dye cloth with blue paint and traditional patterns. After dyeing, untie the tied parts to complete it.
- Bingata Experience: You can make T-shirts, coasters, etc. with 'Bingata', a traditional Okinawan dyeing technique. The colorful and pretty colors are attractive!
- Shisa Making Experience: You can create Okinawa's guardian deity 'Shisa' in a wall-mounted form with your own ideas. It's great to do with your family!
- Glass Blowing Experience: This is a Ryukyu glass experience where you blow it yourself. Complete your own glass artwork such as a glass or soju glass!

- Ryukyu Dance Experience: You can wear traditional dance clothes and learn Ryukyu dance, an Okinawan festival dance. (Reservations are only available for groups of 4 or more)
- Eisa Experience: Experience Eisa, a traditional drum dance that represents Okinawa's summer! The style is different for each region, making it more interesting.
- Ryukyu Traditional Costume Experience: You can create special memories by taking pictures wearing traditional costumes of various colors and designs. Ryukyu dance costumes are also available for rent!
