Southeast Botanical Gardens is already famous as the largest botanical garden in Japan with a history of about 40 years! It has approximately 1,300 species of subtropical plants and palm trees from Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America in an area of approximately 45,000 square meters. In particular, you can admire Japan's finest Yushirayashi palm tree-lined street, baobab trees, lotus flowers, and dragon blood trees. Inside, various plants and trees create a charming atmosphere along with several ponds and lakes, making it perfect for a date.

You can meet cute squirrel monkeys and capybaras at the animal interaction plaza, and you can even have a feeding experience for an additional fee. Spend a warm day in a paradise created by animals and plants, just like its name.

- Alexander Palm
Alexander palms can only grow in greenhouses on mainland Japan, but here you can enjoy the amazing sight of many palm trees growing straight towards the sky. This street lined with palm trees is also famous as a popular spiritual spot.

- Baobab Tree
The Ja Baobab tree, native to Madagascar, can be found in the Southeast Botanical Gardens. The leaves are eaten as vegetables, the roots are used as medicine, and no part of the tree is wasted.

- Lotus
When Okinawa enters the rainy season, lotus flowers begin to bloom, and you can enjoy the spectacular sight of a large pond covered with white and pink lotus flowers.

- Dragon Blood Tree

This animal boasts a cute and adorable visual that looks similar to a hamster! Petting is available from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
