8. 'Kurihashi-Shimo-Imaichi section' can only be used for Tobu Railway mutual direct limited express trains

It's cheaper even if you only travel round trip between Tokyo Station and Nagata Station!

If one adult uses the Joetsu Shinkansen (Tokyo Station-Niigata Station) with a reserved seat, the round-trip transportation cost is 21,000 yen. If you use the JR East Pass (Nagano & Niigata area) at WAUG, you can use it for 16,000 yen, including the transportation mentioned above and unlimited boarding and alighting in the Tokyo and Niigata areas. It's much more economical!
