Not all nights in Vienna are created equal.
Some are extraordinary—like spending your evening in a historic palace,
surrounded by golden chandeliers and Baroque splendor,
listening to the music of Mozart and Strauss performed live.
Welcome to the Schönbrunn Palace Orangery Concert,
an experience that blends history, music, and elegance into one unforgettable night.
The music, the setting, the atmosphere
The concert takes place in the very hall where Mozart once performed in 1786.
Each night, the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra brings the room to life,
performing timeless pieces such as Eine kleine Nachtmusik,
arias from The Magic Flute, Figaro, and Don Giovanni,
and waltzes by Strauss like The Blue Danube and Radetzky March.
The program is split into two parts—Mozart in the first half, Strauss in the second—
making it not just a concert, but a curated journey through Austria’s golden age of music.
What makes this night so special?

The performance:
Musicians and opera singers in period costume,
performing without narration or screens—just pure, live classical music
the way it was meant to be heard.
