This is the news that Pokémon fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting! 'PokéPark Kanto', the permanent outdoor theme park based on Pokémon, is officially set to open on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Located within the 26,000㎡ grounds of the amusement park Yomiuriland in the Tama Hills area of Tokyo, PokéPark Kanto is highly anticipated as Pokémon's first permanent outdoor theme park.

PokéPark Kanto is expected to offer an immersive experience, seemingly transporting visitors directly into the world of the Kanto region from the Pokémon games, going beyond simple rides. Tickets will be sold in three types: the Elite Trainer Pass, Trainer Pass, and Village Pass, all of which include admission to Yomiuriland. Ticket sales will begin with a lottery for residents of Japan on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM JST. A separate ticketing website for international residents will also be opening soon, so Pokémon fans should stay tuned for the next announcement from WAUG.
