The 2026 Winter Olympics will be widely distributed across northern Italy, centered around the city of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, the heart of the Dolomites. In this magazine, we introduce the characteristics of the six main host locations and the events held there, providing special inspiration for planning a trip to the Italian Alps.
1. Milano

3. Antholz/Anterselva (South Tyrol)

Regional Feature: Antholz (known as Anterselva locally) is located in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Northern Italy and is renowned as a winter sports mecca. It possesses international venue facilities, regularly hosting the Biathlon World Cup, providing an optimal environment for the Biathlon events during the Winter Olympics.
4. Bormio
