Gold Coast, Australia, is evolving into a premier destination for global adventurers. On January 10, 2026, Happitat, the world's first-ever cliff adventure park, is set to open at Binna Burra within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park.
1. A World-First: Extreme Thrills on the Cliff Edge

Happitat features a professional Via Ferrata (Iron Path) climbing route along a 400-meter-high cliff face. Travelers will soon be able to safely navigate an 80-meter-long suspension bridge and wobbly tightropes, experiencing breathtaking views that were once reserved only for expert mountaineers.
2. Australia’s Highest Zipline: 'Total Exposure'

The crown jewel of the park is the 'Total Exposure' zipline. Soar 200 meters above the lush rainforest and majestic waterfalls of the Hinterland. As you glide across the expansive Numinbah Valley, you’ll experience an overwhelming sense of freedom and a bird’s-eye view of the ancient Gondwana Rainforest.
3. Coming Soon on WAUG!

To ensure environmental preservation, Happitat will strictly limit daily visitor numbers. While official bookings are not yet open, stay tuned to WAUG for the upcoming ticket launch. Be ready to secure your spot for the most anticipated 2026 landmark as soon as reservations become available!
