While researching things to do in Singapore, I kept seeing the same places come up: Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa. Then came Mandai Wildlife Reserve. If you’re looking for a different side of Singapore, this spot is well worth adding to your itinerary.

Mandai Isn’t Just a Single Zoo!

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is actually an entire wildlife and nature destination with six different attractions. There is Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, Night Safari, Rainforest Wild Adventure, and Exploria. Each attraction offers a completely different experience, from seeing wildlife during the day to exploring after dark at Night Safari. So this place is not really somewhere you pop into for an hour or two. You could easily spend an entire day here, or even make several visits if you want to explore everything without rushing.

Six Attractions, One Pass

Once I realised there were six attractions, I immediately wondered whether I would need to buy a separate ticket for each one. Luckily, there is a much simpler option: the Mandai Destination Pass.

This pass allows you to combine several attractions in one pass, depending on how much time you have and what you actually want to see. If you only want to visit two attractions, you can choose the 2 Attractions Destination Pass and pick any two from the available options. If your itinerary is packed and you are determined to see everything, the 6 Attractions Destination Pass gives you admission to all six attractions within one day. That sounds slightly ambitious, but if you enjoy a full itinerary, it could be a good way to make the most of a short stay in Singapore.

For a more relaxed trip, there is also a 5-day version. It includes all six attractions but allows you to spread your visits across five days instead of trying to do everything at once. Depending on which pass you choose, you could save up to 60% compared with purchasing the attraction tickets separately.

So, How Does the Mandai Pass Actually Work?

Using the pass is fairly easy. First, decide how many attractions you genuinely want to visit and how much time you can give Mandai. Then choose between the 2 Attractions Pass, the 1-Day Pass, or the 5-Day Pass and book it online before your visit. Once you receive your ticket, save it on your phone so it is ready when you arrive. You can then present the ticket when entering each attraction included in your pass.

To make planning even simpler, I've put together a quick visual guide showing how the Mandai Destination Pass works. Save the infographic below before your trip so you can easily refer back to it while planning your visit.
