While looking for things to do in Singapore, I kept seeing the same spots pop up: Marine Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa... and then Mendai Wildlife Reserve caught my attention. If you’re looking to experience a different side of Singapore, it’s definitely worth adding to your itinerary.

More Than Just a Zoo

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is actually an entire wildlife and nature destination, with six different attractions: Singapore Zoo, River Winders, Bird Paradise, Night Safari, Rainforest Wild ASIA, and Exploria. Each offers a completely different experience, from seeing wildlife during the day to exploring after dark at Night Safari. So, this isn’t really somewhere you pop into for just an hour or two. You could easily spend an entire day here, or even come back over several days if you want to experience everything without rushing.

Six Attractions, One Pass

Once I realised there were six attractions, I immediately wondered whether I’d need to buy a separate ticket for each one. Luckily, there’s a much simpler option: the Mandai Destination Pass.

The pass lets you combine multiple attractions depending on how much time you have and what you want to see. If you’re only planning to visit two, you can choose the 2 Attractions Destination Pass and pick any two participating attractions. If your itinerary is packed and you’re determined to see everything, the 6 Attractions Destination Pass gives you admission to all six in one day. It’s definitely ambitious, but if you enjoy a full itinerary, it could be a great way to make the most of a short stay in Singapore.

For a more relaxed trip, there’s also a 5-day option. You’ll still get access to all six attractions, but you can spread your visits across five days rather than trying to fit everything into one. Depending on the pass you choose, you could also save up to 60% compared with purchasing individual attraction tickets.

So, How Does the Mandai Pass Actually Work?

Using the pass is fairly straightforward. First, decide how many attractions you want to visit and how much time you have to explore Mandai. Then, choose between the 2 Attractions Destination Pass, the 1-Day Pass, or the 5-Day Pass and book it online before your visit.

Once you receive your WAUG voucher, you’ll need to use the booking code provided to reserve your timeslots before visiting the attractions. Your WAUG voucher is not your admission ticket, so make sure you complete the reservation process before your visit.

To make things even easier, I’ve put together a quick visual guide showing you exactly how the Mandai Destination Pass works. Save the infographic below so you can easily refer back to it when planning your visit.
