Arriving at Kansai Airport on an afternoon flight can often mean losing valuable time to travel. The Osaka Amazing Pass Kansai Airport Edition, launched in October 2026, is a 28-hour pass designed specifically for such travelers.
This pass includes one-way travel from Kansai Airport Station to Namba Station via the Nankai Electric Railway, along with unlimited rides on trains and buses in Osaka City and entry to approximately 40 tourist facilities.
It's valid for 28 hours from the time of first use, so even if you arrive in the afternoon or evening, you can keep exploring on your arrival day and the next.
From Kansai Airport Station to Namba Station by Nankai Electric Railway

Upon arrival at the airport, you can head straight to Namba using the Nankai Electric Railway from Kansai Airport Station. This one-way journey is covered by the pass, so you can start using it right from the airport.
Please note that this section is only valid for travel from Kansai Airport Station to Namba Station. It cannot be used for the return trip to the airport, nor can you alight at stations between Kansai Airport Station and Sakai Station.
Express trains like the Rapi:t that require seat reservations come with an additional fee, and the airport bus is not included in the pass.
Explore Osaka City Freely for 28 Hours

Once you arrive in Namba, you'll have unlimited access to all lines of the Osaka Metro and Osaka City Bus (with some exceptions). You can also use the Hankyu, Hanshin, Keihan, Kintetsu, and Nankai Railways within designated areas of Osaka city.
With no additional admission fee, you can enter about 40 attractions, including the Osaka Castle Main Tower, the Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory, the Tsutenkaku Tower observation deck and the Tombori River Cruise. Each facility can be visited once within the pass's validity period.
Try planning a river cruise around Namba on your first evening, followed by a visit to Osaka Castle and the Umeda area the next morning.
Things to Know Before Using the Osaka Amazing Pass Kansai Airport Edition

The pass is used via a QR code displayed on your smartphone. Present the QR code at the ticket gate for trains, when disembarking for buses, and at the entrance for attractions. The pass must be within its validity period at the moment of use.
Screenshots or printed QR codes are not accepted. The Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory accepts the pass until 3 PM, and the Tsutenkaku Tower observation deck requires booking a time slot on-site.
Closing days and opening hours may change, so check the official websites in advance. If you want to make the most of Osaka from the moment you land, start your trip with the Osaka Amazing Pass Kansai Airport Edition.
