The driver was kind and nice. I'm not fluent in English, but it didn't bother me too much. Most of all, the Doi Inthanon trekking course is really cool.. Although the 2 people in my family constantly complained that it was difficult.. It's easy enough for those who like hiking, but not easy for those who aren't familiar with regular exercise... It seems to be tolerable.

Marvel at the majesty of nature at Doi Inthanon National Park, Thailand's highest peak. Our private Chiang Mai vehicle tour ensures a safe and enjoyable experience, free from the distractions of other groups. Explore the approximately 2-hour trekking route and witness the daily lives of hill tribes firsthand, just as you've imagined from books.
Visit and admire Thailand's stunning Wachirathan Waterfall and the Royal Pagodas.
Seasonal Trekking Routes
1. November - End of April:
Kew Mae Pan trail trekking available.
2. May - End of October:
Pa Dok Seaw trail (waterfall swimming possible) available.
*Trekking requires a local guide. After safety training at the nature exploration center, you can climb with a certified local mountain guide. Guides are always available at the trail entrance. A guide can accompany a team of 4-8 people for approximately 300 Baht, which can be shared among the team members.
Tour Itinerary
- 08:00 AM - Meet at your hotel lobby (driver will hold a sign with your name).
- Visit Wachirathan Waterfall.
- 2-hour Trekking (Choice of Kew Mae Pan or Pa Dok Seaw trail).
- Kew Mae Pan Trail: Difficulty 3 out of 5. If Kew Mae Pan is chosen, Karen villages will be visited by vehicle.
- Pa Dok Seaw Trail: Difficulty 2.5 out of 5. Swimming possible (bring swimwear). The final section of the course leads to a Karen village.
- Lunch (at your own expense).
- Visit the summit area.
- Visit the Royal Pagodas.
- Visit the Hmong Market.
- 03:20 PM - 05:00 PM - Depart for Chiang Mai (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes travel time). Free drop-off at your hotel or desired location in the city.
