Surfing longer than my expectation. A lot of pictures and videos were taken and shared immediately. Enjoyed surfing.

This was my first time trying surfing. On the originally booked day, there were almost no waves, so even though we had already gathered at the location, they kindly switched our reservation to the next day for free. The next day, there were some waves, so I was able to take the lesson. (I had them push my board each time to get initial speed.) The lesson was conducted in cycles of 15 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of rest on land (we were given water during the breaks). During the first cycle, I couldn't stand on the board at all, and by the end of the second cycle, I could barely touch the board with the sole of one foot, but I finally managed to stand on the board during the third and final cycle. (I only rode a wave to the end once.) Even though I'm an elderly person nearing sixty with little talent, the instructor patiently kept pushing my board every time. Meanwhile, another instructor on land managed our belongings and took photos and videos of the lesson with a professional camera. They even captured the one moment I stood on the board and rode a wave with a telephoto lens. The photos and videos are also shared for free, so you can cherish your memories. Despite the unfavorable conditions with a lot of waiting time for waves, I was very satisfied.
