It was our first visit to Porto and what an excellent itinerary provided and on time, drinks included and the photo opportunities during the cruise were excellent, both guides gave a fantastic history or explanations of the Douro river and Porto including the various historic buildings along both sides of the Douro river. I cannot thank both Sofia and Eduardo enough for a memorable cruise on the Douro river and out to the edge of the Douro river where it meets the Atlantic ocean 👌 The booking and payment process was very straightforward and easy to complete, we have used Get Your Guide many times and they have never failed to provide what we expected.

The experience was really cool. It was truly beautiful to cruise the river by yacht and see Porto from another perspective, especially the seven bridges. The guides were very friendly and explained all the information in a clear and interesting way. I had a great time with my family and it was definitely an experience we enjoyed immensely. I totally recommend it!

This was a wonderful way to see Porto and the bridges. Our guides were very friendly and the small group size meant that the experience felt more personal, while still allowing meeting other travellers. We did the sunset tour and it was beautiful- Highly recommend this tour and company. Thank you.

Only six of us on the tour so we went up top with another couple, almost a private trip. Guid was great fun and very informative.

Meet Porto's sunset on a romantic cruise

Gently gliding on the calm river, you'll gaze at the riverside scenery, from the historic bridges designed by Gustave Eiffel to the beautiful Baroque-style Palácio de Freixo. As you admire the view, a pure curiosity and thrilling childlike wonder, like those dreamt of while reading fairy tales under the night sky in childhood, will softly bloom deep within your heart. Listen to the fascinating history and hidden legends of Porto shared by the friendly local crew, and capture the vibrant moments of the city as the sun slowly sets in your photos.

As the boat reaches the coast where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean, and if weather conditions permit, you'll witness the spectacular sunset firsthand in the middle of the open sea. On lucky days, you might even be greeted by friendly dolphins swimming near the coast at dusk, searching for food. A warm glass of wine shared onboard and the emotion of the sunset-lit sea will melt away the heavy worries of daily life, completing this cozy day in Porto into a treasure-like memory to be cherished deep within your heart for a long time.
