Tokyo Street Go-Kart Tour (Asakusa & Akihabara & Ginza Course)

Discover Tokyo Up Close on a Go-Kart

Instead of a tour bus, drive your own go-kart on Tokyo's actual roads. Follow your instructor as you connect the representative streets and landmarks of eastern Tokyo.

Before the tour, you'll receive professional safety instructions and a demonstration to ensure you can drive safely. Then, follow your guide along the designated course and experience the vibrant street scenery of Tokyo firsthand.

Choose Your Adventure: 1 or 2 Hours

The 1-hour course focuses on key areas in eastern Tokyo, including Asakusa, Ueno, Akihabara, Ueno Park, Kappabashi Street, and Tokyo Skytree. It's perfect for those who want a quick taste of go-karting fun.

Opt for the 2-hour course to explore a wider range of areas. You can zip through major Tokyo districts with distinct atmospheres, from Toyosu to Ginza, Nihonbashi, Akihabara, Ueno, and Asakusa.

*The actual driving route may vary depending on traffic and road conditions on the day.

Don't Forget Your Japanese Driving Documents!

Since you'll be driving yourself, you must have valid driving documents for Japan. Most international travelers will need all three of the following:

Valid Driver's License from Your Home Country

• Original International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention
• Original Passport

If your license is from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco, you'll need your original driver's license, an official Japanese translation from an authorized institution, and your passport. Holders of US military SOFA licenses require separate documentation according to specific conditions.

*International Driving Permits issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention are not recognized in Japan.
*Your International Driving Permit must be in the form of an original booklet.
*Failure to present the required driving documents on the day will result in denial of participation and no refunds. Please verify your driving eligibility and required documents before booking.
