It was a great experience to learn about various Australian wines and receive explanations from a professional guide! Recommended for those interested in wine!

Trip was fine, wineries were great but the day was spoilt by the food served at lunch. 3 starters all just mixed sald leaves with chicken fish or sweet potato. 3 creamy pene pasta choices or a burger which was just flat tastless. Meal was VERY dissapointing form a venue that looked amazing

Had thought I signed up for an English speaking tour but turned out to be in Chinese. The group size of 17 pax was good. Frank was a pleasant guide with informative commentary, and the day was well-run. The only downside was the slightly rushed pace — not much time for photos and though the lunch was slightly rushed too. Otherwise, a generally good experience to Hunter Valley.

The tour guide was funny as well as informative. The winery we visited were great and the ride had great scenery. The lunch was more than I expected to receive! A great tour worth the money!

This day tour takes you by coach from Sydney to two Hunter Valley wineries for wine tastings. Taste Semillon, Shiraz and more at signature Hunter Valley wineries such as Mount Pleasant Wines and Audrey Wilkinson (or similar) and hear the stories behind them. Lunch is a 2-course meal paired with local red and white wines at voco Kirkton Park (or a similar hotel). Finally, sample handmade chocolates at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company.

Depart Sydney and cross
the Harbour Bridge to the Hunter Valley

Board an air-conditioned coach via hotel pickup or at the Central Station meeting point and leave Sydney at around 8:00 AM. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the way to the Hunter Valley, with a short break along the way.

Taste estate wines
at Mount Pleasant Wines

At around 11:00 AM, arrive at Mount Pleasant Wines (or similar), one of the Hunter Valley's signature wineries, for a tasting of estate-grown and single-vineyard wines. Taste Australia's oldest Pinot Noir while looking out over the vineyard where it is grown.

Enjoy a 2-course lunch with wine
at Kirkton Park

At around 12:15 PM, enjoy a 2-course lunch at voco Kirkton Park (or a similar hotel), an elegant country manor. Each dish is paired with Hunter Valley red and white wines.

Visit Audrey Wilkinson
and taste chocolate

At around 1:30 PM, stop at Audrey Wilkinson (or similar) at the foot of the Brokenback Range for a guided wine tasting and hear the story of this estate, founded in the 1860s. At around 2:30 PM, sample handmade chocolates at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company, then depart at around 3:45 PM and arrive at Sydney Central Station at around 5:30 PM.
