From Perth: Pinnacles, Lobster Shack & Yanchep Day Tour

Enjoy morning tea
and local treats in Yanchep

Travel about 1 hour from central Perth in an air-conditioned minibus to Yanchep. Stop for morning tea at either the Yanchep Lavender Farm or the Yanchep Chocolate Drops Tearoom. At the lavender farm, you can taste treats such as lavender ice cream and freshly baked scones, while the tearoom offers a variety of chocolates and sweets. Along the way, your driver-guide shares stories about the region in English, and you can look out for wildlife such as kangaroos and emus by the roadside.

Choose a seafood lunch
at the Lobster Shack in Cervantes

At lunchtime, head to the Lobster Shack in the coastal town of Cervantes. Choose from a menu of Western Australian seafood and enjoy your meal with coastal views. Lunch is at your own expense.

See stromatolites
at Lake Thetis

After lunch, walk along the trail at Lake Thetis and see stromatolites, known as living fossils. In season, wildflowers such as banksia, bottlebrush, grass trees and kangaroo paw line the trail.

Walk through the Pinnacles Desert
in Nambung National Park

On arrival at Nambung National Park, first visit the Discovery Centre to learn how the Pinnacles were formed. Then walk a few hundred meters to see thousands of limestone pillars rising from the desert up close. After your visit, return to Perth around 7 pm.
