Snorkeling in the reef was simply amazing. The day was well organised and the staff was all very knowledgeable and experienced and made the experience safe and enjoyable. Bring warm clothes because you get quite cold after the swims!

It was a great first snorkeling experience. There were a lot of people also on the boat, so it was mostly self-guided once you're out on the water.

It was a super cool experience. I booked a discovery dive and was able to book a second one on-site (almost) without any problems because other participants had canceled. I briefly panicked underwater when the equalization became uncomfortable. Our instructor Romain calmed me (us) down wonderfully and made me feel very safe. The second dive was then spontaneously with him all alone, as the other participants had dropped out. We saw a shark, a turtle, a ray, and lots of fish! It was a great offer. The atmosphere was very pleasant despite the large group size. The food was delicious. The meeting point was easy to find based on the description. The photos taken by the photographer Carlos turned out super cool!! 🤙🏽🤿🐠

Nice day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Recommended.

It was a very successful excursion! We only did the snorkeling tour and were taken to two really great reefs, with more than enough time to explore everything! The lunch was good, and there was also a small snack in the morning and afternoon. All in all, it was perfectly organized and everything was explained perfectly. We had a lot of fun and also saw two sea turtles! In addition, great photos were taken - I would definitely use this service again!

매력포인트

Board AquaQuest, a vessel purpose-built for diving and snorkeling, for a day trip to two sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Spend up to 5 hours in the water at two handpicked sites among private moorings at Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs. All snorkeling gear is included, from wetsuits and Lycra suits to prescription masks, along with a guided snorkel tour, a tropical lunch buffet and hot showers. Depending on your option, add an introductory dive or certified dives.

프로그램

Head to the outer reef
on a purpose-built dive vessel

Check in at 8:00 AM aboard AquaQuest, moored at B Finger of Cairns Marlin Marina, and depart at 8:30 AM. Enjoy morning tea during the roughly 1.5-hour journey to the outer Great Barrier Reef.

Snorkel and dive at the first reef

Spend about 2 hours 45 minutes at the first site, handpicked from private moorings at Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs. After a safety briefing, swim and snorkel freely or join a guided snorkel tour, and scuba dive if you booked a diving option. Look for colorful coral, clownfish, turtles, rays and the majestic Maori wrasse.

Enjoy lunch and relaxation on a spacious deck

AquaQuest features a spacious dive deck, a platform for easy water entry, a large sun deck and an air-conditioned indoor area. After the morning session, freshen up with a hot shower and enjoy a lunch buffet of hot and cold dishes, salads, rolls and tropical fruit.

Explore a second reef and return

After a transfer of about 45 minutes, spend about 1.5 hours snorkeling and diving at the second site. Enjoy afternoon tea on the roughly 1.5-hour return to Cairns Marlin Marina.

※ Marine life such as turtles live in the wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
※ Reef sites and the itinerary may change depending on local conditions.
