Ride off-road by UTV through
private Daintree Rainforest land
Drive yourself to the departure point in Upper Daintree and arrive at least 10 minutes before the start, where your guide will meet you in a UTV. Ride with your guide along rainforest tracks, across creeks, and up hills, with plenty of splashes along the way.
Throughout the ride, your local guide shares information about the rainforest's ancient plants, geology, and environmental importance, and shows you elevated views across the Daintree.
Swim at secluded Cassowary Falls
Cassowary Falls drops 21 m into a clear freshwater pool surrounded by dense rainforest. With only one group on site at a time, you have time to swim, relax, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The water's edge is just a 15 m walk from where the vehicle parks.
Walk the rainforest and taste seasonal fruit
Enjoy a guided rainforest walk with commentary and a tasting of seasonal bush tucker and farm fruit. Depending on conditions and group needs, a ride through the rainforest in a restored army truck may also be included. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours.

Meeting point details:
Park on the left just past the entrance. Your guide will come down to meet you about 10 minutes before the tour starts, driving a UTV and likely wearing a branded uniform. A 4WD vehicle is not required and parking is available on site. The drive takes about 50 minutes from Port Douglas to Daintree Village and about 1 hour 45 minutes from Cairns, with possible extra time for the ferry crossing and roadworks.
