From Madrid: Segovia & Toledo Day Tour - Alcázar Entry & Cathedral Option

Visit Segovia and Toledo
in one day

This is a full-day tour of about 12 hours departing near Plaza de Las Ventas in Madrid. You travel between the two cities by air-conditioned coach and listen to the guide through headphones. The guide speaks English and Spanish.

The order of visits depends on the departure time. If you choose the 8:30 AM departure, you visit Toledo first for 3 hours, then spend 4 hours in Segovia.

See the Roman aqueduct and the Alcázar in Segovia

In Segovia, see the Roman aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 1st century, it is considered the most important example of Roman civil engineering in Spain.

Then enter the Alcázar palace, built on a rocky hill where two rivers meet near the Guadarrama mountains, and explore it on your own. In Segovia you spend about 2 hours in total, including the guided tour and free time.

Walk through Toledo, the City of Three Cultures

In Toledo, a walking tour takes you through the medieval old town and historic monuments as you learn why Toledo is called the City of Three Cultures. There is also time for photos, free time and shopping.

Visit the inside of Toledo Cathedral, depending on your option

The cathedral option ends with a guided tour inside Toledo Cathedral. After the tour, return by coach to the departure point in Madrid.
