In the spacious ranch, you can see bears up close as they roll around and play in groups divided by age. You can observe many sides of the bears, from cute moments to their powerful roars. Raccoons that love cookies also live at the ranch.
In spring, meet the cubs born that year
Around Golden Week in May, the cubs born that year make their debut. You can watch the little cubs playing with each other, practicing climbing trees and splashing in the water.
Feel the bears even closer through feeding and the Human Cage
You can buy bear food (cookies) at the entrance and from vending machines inside the ranch to try feeding the bears. From autumn to around March, apples from Sobetsu are also sold as bear food for a limited time at the ticket counter. If you want to get even closer, step into the "Human Cage (special observation room)" to hear the bears' breathing and voices right in front of you.
