Our surfing teacher helped us understand the basics pretty quickly (and also adapted to me personally having experience vs my wife who was a complete beginner). Caught quite a few waves and also helped us paddle and catch ourselves without a push! Tiring but very fun

Roy was AMAZING! He was the difference between drowning and having the best surf session of my life in 6ft waves (there was a swell). I rode the best and biggest waves I have ever before, and had the time of my life. THANK YOU! I will be coming back to Bali and will do another session with him.

Meet your instructor on the beach
and pick the right board

Meet your instructor at Batu Bolong Beach, change into your swimwear and choose a surfboard that suits you. Then follow your instructor into the sea for a lesson matched to your ability. Beginners learn the basics of surfing, and intermediate surfers take their technique to the next level.

Ride the waves and build your skills

Paddle out and catch some waves. Each time you ride back in, your instructor gives you tips to improve. Feel free to ask questions and have fun.

Return your board and finish with a shower

When the lesson is over, return your surfboard, shower, dry off and change your clothes.
