This is a ticket for a 60–70 minute night cruise on the Pearl River in Guangzhou. The flagship boat, Zhuangyuan Fang, is the first boat on the Pearl River designed around China's imperial examination culture, letting you enjoy the night view in spaces inspired by scholarship and Lingnan heritage. You board at the pier of the option you booked (Haixinsha West, Xidi, Tianzi or Dashatou Pier), and boats of different sizes and specifications operate depending on the pier.

Explore decks designed like an academy courtyard

The three decks of Zhuangyuan Fang are laid out like the courtyard of a traditional academy. On the first deck, Wenqu Pavilion, the ceiling is decorated with calligraphy and an LED screen shows the historic top scholars of Guangdong's civil and military examinations.

The second deck, Kuixing Pavilion, features a photo wall decorated with the ceremonial hats worn by successful candidates and the traditional Ao fish, an image of the idiom "to come out on top." It is a great spot for souvenir photos.

Take in 360-degree views from the open-air top deck

The third deck, Lanyue Pavilion, is a fully open outdoor deck. Feel the river breeze and enjoy open views in every direction as the boat passes Guangzhou's illuminated landmarks.

Cruise past Pearl River sights from Canton Tower to Shamian Island

The cruise follows the most iconic stretch of the Pearl River. Depending on the departure pier, you pass Canton Tower and its light show, the graceful Haixin Bridge and the twin towers of Zhujiang New Town, while the west bank shows the historic buildings of Shamian Island and the old customs house.
