From Paris: Champagne Winery Day Tour - Champagne House & Family Winery (Hotel Pickup)

Leave from your accommodation in Paris
for Champagne with an expert wine guide

After pickup from your hotel in central Paris, travel about 2 hours to the Champagne region in an air-conditioned minivan (up to 8 seats). On the way, enjoy a freshly baked croissant while your guide shares stories about champagne and the traditions of the Champagne region.

Explore the wine cellars of a famous champagne house

Visit one of the major champagne houses such as Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Mercier, Pommery, Lanson or Nicolas Feuillatte, tour the wine cellars with your guide for about 1 hour 30 minutes, learn about the production process and enjoy your first tasting.

Drive through the vineyards to a lunch paired with champagne

On the way to lunch through the vineyards, your guide leads a tasting in the middle of the vines and explains the region's terroir and winemaking techniques (subject to weather conditions). Lunch is served at a family-run champagne house or a local restaurant, with classic French dishes paired with various styles of champagne such as Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs and rosé.

Discover another champagne at a family winery or cooperative

In the afternoon, visit a second producer (a family-owned winery or a cooperative) for about 1 hour 30 minutes to learn another approach to champagne making, with a tasting. At the end of the day, drive about 2 hours back to Paris and get dropped off at Place de l’Hôtel de Ville.
