This activity is definitely worth it! So easy to go around once and see all the main tourist attractions. Then do it again and get off and on at particular sights. Saves you walking long distances in the heat and avoids the crowds. Definitely worth it and highly recommend.

I use the hop on and hop off regularly in the different cities that I visit. Great way to get a view of the city.

It was so busy in Florence and there was only the one route in operation which I think must have added to then congestion to getting on the buses and buying tickets on the day. There wasn’t a sign post at the first pick up point in Florence which made finding the site difficult also. The signposts otherwise on the route were also hard to find and often low down on the ground. In other cities I have travelled in they have been high up and clear to find the on and off spots.
