Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry Tour in New York

We have done many tours with many tour guides over the years. Without doubt, Joseph was by far the best. He was super prepared with all the information we needed to fully enjoy our tour. We had a mixture of history injected with humor. Joseph is also a very friendly and personable tour guide. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.

The guide was very friendly and gave a lot of explanations. We had a good time.

The attractions are worth seeing, but unfortunately the entire tour was ruined for us by the guide Ray. Right at the beginning, before boarding the ferry, he repeated the same thing for over 20 minutes. All the other groups had long since boarded the ferry, and we were still standing around on the shore. Finally arriving at the Statue of Liberty, he explained far too much unnecessary information and repeated everything multiple times, so we had almost no time left for sightseeing. Then he gave us incorrect ferry departure times, causing us to wait for half an hour in the blazing sun. On Ellis Island, he again spent over 30 minutes unnecessarily explaining everything that could be seen in the museum anyway, and again we lacked the time to see everything at a leisurely pace. If we had booked the tour on our own without Getyourguide, it would surely have been more relaxed and interesting.

It was simply great👍

Guide was very informative!
