Wat Umong was a good light walking course. There were one or two photo spots, and the Doi Suthep night tour was really colorful and great for taking photos. In particular, the panoramic view of the observatory(?) at night offers a panoramic view of Chiang Mai, so I think it is a point you must visit in person!! And the guide was very stable in driving the winding mountain road, so it was an enjoyable trip.

I was surprised that there was nothing to see at Wat Umong. Doi Suthep was beautiful and magnificent as a tourist destination. The driver also listened to requests and was kind. Sounds like a good place to move as a family!

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, believed to enshrine Buddha's relics, is a historic temple built in 1386 on Suthep Mountain, considered a sacred mountain, at an altitude of 1,000 meters. It is one of the temples with the best views in Thailand and is a world-renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site. Inside the temple, you'll find a dazzling golden pagoda, numerous large and small Buddha statues, jade Buddha statues, and a reclining Buddha. Wat Umong is also a historic Buddhist temple, a mystical cave temple featuring ancient tunnels.
