At Gyeongju Manho House, CEO Lee Tak-won, who was born and raised in Yangdong Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, conducts traditional liquor making experiences with modern and friendly explanations. Experience Korean traditional liquor making from start to finish and learn about Yangdong Village and Korean traditional liquor!
How to Make It
Enjoy the experience while feeling the serene atmosphere of Yangdong Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
1. Clear Rice Wine Making Experience:
You can have the most important experience of making clear rice wine by cooling freshly cooked rice, mixing it with yeast, and kneading it.
2. Soju Distilling Experience:
You can learn the traditional soju production process by distilling pre-made clear rice wine using a soju distilling tool (a pot-shaped soju distiller).
If you add snacks to the liquor you make yourself, you can enjoy the deep taste of Korean traditional liquor even more.
