Cool off by swimming in Waimea Falls, the natural pool of Waimea Valley. After a hike, swimming in the cool water will make your whole body feel thrilled. For your safety, we provide life jackets free of charge. There are also changing rooms and a quick shower area near the waterfall, so you can enjoy swimming comfortably.

Hawaii's Nature and Culture

Waimea Valley has 52 themed gardens and over 5,000 species of plants. Among them, you can find many endangered and protected Hawaiian plants, so it is a special opportunity to see various plants that are not easily accessible! Also, take a look at Hale, a traditional Hawaiian house made of Hawaiian nature. It is a truly natural house made only of trees, weeds, and coconut roots.

As you tour Waimea Valley, learn about Hawaiian culture at the booths set up throughout the area and collect Ho'okipa stickers. When you collect three Ho'okipa stickers, you will receive a Ho'okipa Cultural Ambassador designation and a Waimea Valley badge as a gift! Learning about Hawaiian history and nature while also receiving a souvenir is even more informative and special.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Green World Coffee Farm, a local favorite on the North Shore. Fill up on a hearty meal before your hike to fuel up for the tour. Start your morning with a fragrant spinach tomato bread, banana bread, or sausage roll, along with coffee grown at Green World Coffee Farm. After all that hiking and swimming, you’ll be ready to kick back and have a healthy lunch while taking in the beautiful Waimea Valley views. Choose from a Chicken Caesar Wrap, Veggie Wrap, or Spicy Shrimp Wrap for lunch. Top off your meal with Hawaiian chips, fresh baked cookies, and a drink.
