It's highly recommended for your Kansai trip as it allows you to travel comfortably between Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and Nara for 3 days.
At an affordable price
One of the biggest advantages of the JR Kansai Mini Pass is its affordable price. For 3,000 yen, you can use JR lines without a limit on the number of rides for 3 days, and its wide coverage area allows for free travel to various regions. A major benefit of the JR Kansai Mini Pass is that it can also be used for travel from Kansai Airport to Namba, making it convenient for your first or last day of travel.
Applicable Lines
With the JR Kansai Pass, you can travel to Tennoji, JR Namba Station, Osaka Station, Kyoto Station, Kobe Sannomiya Station, Nara Station, and Universal City Station from Kansai Airport, as shown in the image above. You can conveniently travel to Tennoji in 50 minutes, Osaka Station in 70 minutes, and Nara Station in 55 minutes by JR.

- Please check the WEST QR URL sent via email or the WAUG app.
- Access the URL, create an account, review the important notices, and click the agree button.
- Detailed usage instructions, including how to register your ticket, reserve reserved seats, start using it, and cancel reservations, can be found on the official website. Go to Official Site
- Please note that you cannot use the pass if you have not registered your ticket on the WEST QR site.
- Valid until March 31, 2027.
How to Create an Account and Register Your Ticket:
▲ After purchasing your ticket, access the official WEST QR website from the link provided and create an account.
▲ Register your ticket after creating your account.
* You cannot log in to multiple devices simultaneously, so be sure to register the ticket on the device you will be using.
* If you do not have a smartphone, please register the ticket on a companion's smartphone.
* Once you click 'Register Ticket', you cannot change the ticket between accounts.
How to Start Using Your Ticket:
▲ Select the ticket you wish to activate from the ticket list screen and click 'Activate Ticket'. Once the ticket is displayed, confirm the details and press 'Use Ticket'.
* Tickets cannot be canceled after activation.
* Tickets must be activated on the day of use. Do not pass through the ticket gate before activation.
* The validity period begins immediately after 'Activation', so please ensure you use it on the day of your trip.
* The QR code updates every 5 minutes, so captured or printed QR codes cannot be used.
* If you accidentally click the 'Use Ticket' button and the QR code becomes active, please click the chatbot icon at the bottom of the WEST QR app to inquire. We will assist you with invalidating the ticket after checking its usage status. However, if the train has already departed, invalidation may not be possible.
