This is the perfect course to conquer the volcanic landscapes, lakes, and port cities near Sapporo all in one day. The rugged geothermal landscape of Noboribetsu is quite impressive, even for men, and the view from the Lake Toya Observatory was truly spectacular. Taking a stroll along the canal in Otaru, the final stop, accompanied by a refreshing glass of Sapporo Classic beer, I felt all my travel fatigue melt away. I was very satisfied with being able to travel this long distance comfortably without a rental car!
